The Soirée Pump

A pointed pump in black suede on an 85 millimetre heel: evening height without a platform, and a line that works as well with a trouser as a dress. The shoe the house shows with every collection.

The suede is Italian kid, brushed to a deep matte, over a leather lining and a leather sole that has been hand-burnished to black. The heel is wrapped in the same suede and set slightly forward so the foot sits balanced.

The last is the house's own, with a little more room across the toe than the pointed silhouette suggests, so it can be worn for a whole evening.

Made in Milan in a workshop that produces fewer than forty pairs a day. Sizes thirty-five to forty-one, including halves.

Arrives with a suede brush and a pair of dust bags. Keep them from rain and rest them a day between wearings.
