The Card Case

A slim case in black calfskin with a gold-painted edge, made for the jacket pocket rather than the bag. Six slots and a centre pocket for folded notes.

The same full-grain Tuscan calf as the tote, split thinner and lined in the same leather so it stays flat and does not bulk. The edge paint is applied in five coats and polished between each.

Holds six cards comfortably and eight at a stretch, and the leather eases slightly with use so the slots grip without wearing the cards.

Cut and stitched in Florence in the house workshop, with a gold-stamped Maison mark on the inside. Initials can be added on request.

Arrives in a small cotton pouch within the house box. A light cloth will keep the edge bright.
