Opera Leather Gloves

Wrist-length gloves in black lambskin, lined in silk and cut for evening. They are the piece that finishes a dark coat and a bare wrist.

The lambskin is Neapolitan nappa, chosen for its thinness and stretch, so the glove fits like a second skin rather than a covering. The silk lining keeps them warm and lets them slide on and off without effort.

Cut by hand from a single skin per pair and sewn with a prix-seam, the fine outside stitch that gives the glove its clean silhouette.

Made in Naples by a family glove maker in the fourth generation. Sizes six and a half to eight, in half sizes.

Delivered in tissue in the house box. Do not wet them; a glove stretcher and a cool room will return them to shape.
